Quarry Supervisor

We are looking for a highly motivated Quarry Supervisor with relevant quarry grade management certifications.

Reporting to and working closely with the Quarry Manger you will provide strong hands-on leadership to ensure our operators are fully engaged to perform their tasks effectively and safely.

Roys Hill is one of our smaller, unique quarries supported by a team of four dedicated operators. As well as getting stuck in on the day to day running of the quarry, you will have the drive to keep focused on finding areas of continued improvement to ensure we are increasing production volumes and meeting our customer’s requirements.

**What we need from you**:

- A technical understanding of the quarrying environment and of NZ Quarry Legislation
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Engage with contractors to deliver sustainable outcomes
- Provide active leadership of a positive nature to continue to develop and coach our operators
- High focus on Health & Safety
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to think strategically and keep focused when under pressure delivering a well-considered outcome
