**New World Cambridge is looking for customer service stars to join our Checkout team.**:

**Checkout Supervisor**
If you have managerial or supervisory experience in the retail industry, or are an experienced Checkout Operator wanting a new opportunity, then please apply.
You will need to be committed to learning and maintaining our high standards, have excellent communication, proven high customer service skills, competent in computer skills and work confidently managing people. Key traits we will be seeking are punctuality, flexibility, honesty and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Department Manager in running the department
- Supervising and managing staff
- Providing strong leadership to assist our team delivering great service
- Train staff in aspects of the checkout including customer service, till operation, customer feedback, security issues and accountability of monies
- Helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Keep customer waiting times to a minimum
- Foodstuffs Liquor Policy strictly adhered to for 100% compliance
**To be considered for this role**:
- You've had Supervisory or Management experience for at least 6 months
- Supermarket or large retail experience is an advantage
- You demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail and have a high level of integrity and productivity
- You can communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Have an understanding of NZ Food Safety standards
The hours may include early starts, late finishes and will include one weekend day.
