Mō te tūranga | About the role
As Aotearoa New Zealand's Privacy Regulator, OPC has a responsibility to model best practice, and the Corporate Systems and Information space forms a core pillar of this. As the Corporate Systems and Information Lead, you will play a pivotal role in setting the direction of Information Technology and Corporate Systems support within OPC. This will be an exciting and varied role which encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including direct management of a Senior IT Support Analyst, project delivery, vendor management and strategic planning.

Additionally, you will bring the following broad skills and experience:

- Experienced across the range of Information, Knowledge and Records Management, Information and Communications Technology, Business Continuity, Organisational and Change Management, and Official Information Act requests.
- Proven track record in leading and managing projects from initiation through to review, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage inter-dependencies, and develop effective relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of information technologies, including content management systems.
- Familiarity with government and public sector processes, legislative requirements, and business process design.
