Haematology Service, North Shore Hospital
The Haematology service is looking for a Clerical Administrator to provide key administration support to the haematology department.
Waitematā DHB has an established dynamic and growing haematology department based at North Shore Hospital. Clinical areas include malignant haematology, a large acute thrombosis service, an active research department as well as general haematology.
E.g. -2 hours per day over 4 days or 4 hours per day over 2 days.
It may work well around university studies for a student studying in a health discipline - providing excellent opportunity for insight into how a hospital service operates.
If successful you will provide key administration support and undertake the following duties:

- General office duties
- Mail distribution
- Filing
- Ordering office supplies

Clerical Administrator is pivotal to our success and will be expected to engage fully with the whole team. This position requires you to identify workloads and priorities whilst continuously improving service standards in line with Waitemata DHB policies.
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Be flexible, able to work proactively and under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work with all people and think laterally
- Willing to learn quickly and take direction

Providing service excellence to our haematology patients and staff is essential. Creating an environment that is welcoming, professional and supports our department requires the clerical Administrator to work in a cohesive and collaborative manner.
