**Key responsibilities**
As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of these projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Leading and supervising a team of construction professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones within the allocated budget and schedule.
- Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to maintain our high standards throughout the construction process.
- Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site, such as technical challenges, change orders, and scheduling conflicts.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and safety records.
**What you’ll need to succeed**
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Site Manager in New Zealand, with a strong focus on structures or fit-out experience in commercial builds or modular construction.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, processes, and industry regulations.
- Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
- A proactive approach to safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards on-site.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a relevant practical experience will be highly regarded.
