Project Specialist

**About the Role**
The Project Specialist plays a pivotal role within the Kōrure Whānau team. This position serves as a key liaison between the Management Team, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Reporting to the Director of Kōrure Whānau and working closely with the General Manager, you will contribute to the efficient execution of strategic priorities, project management, and administrative functions crucial for the success of our frontline services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare Board reports, presentations, and correspondence with accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor compliance protocols, report on potential risks, and oversee the annual reporting process.
- Assist the Director with managing schedules, coordinating activities, and maintaining efficient meeting processes and follow-up actions.
- Manage and support Kōrure Whānau projects, ensuring they are on time and within budget, while coordinating internal and external resources and supporting key stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Develop and manage admin systems, coordinate Whānau Ora Clinical governance meetings, foster team collaboration, and track progress on strategic goals.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven experience in a similar role with a track record of supporting strategic priorities and managing projects effectively
- Qualification in Business Management or a relevant field.
- Understanding of Te Ao Māori frameworks and proficiency in Te Reo Māori.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in handling budgets, monthly reconciliation, and compiling expense reports.
- Proficiency in diary/calendar management and minute-taking.
- Full New Zealand Driver’s License required for local travel.
