Massage Therapist

Wanaka Sports Massage is looking for a Qualified Massage Therapist to join our team. A minimum of 2 years working experience with at least a 1 year certificate/diploma or other equivalent in massage therapy education is preferred, with flexibility to work on a roster with shifts ranging in hours. A sound knowledge of Triggerpoint and Myofascial release is essential.

We offer Deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point release, and relaxation) with the majority of our clients seeking more deep tissue & sports massage. We also work closely with local physiotherapists and chiropractor so an understanding in anatomy, physiology and injury assessment is a must.

Massages are done onsite.

Your role will be to:

- Provide massage therapy
- Prescribe stretches & strengthening exercises to clients
- Maintain the cleanliness of the massage rooms & clinic
- Guest service prior to and after the massage
- Reception services

Must have current work visa or the ability to legally work in New Zealand (a valid visa for more than 3 months is required) and be located in Wanaka, New Zealand.
