Seafood Manager

**Sunday - Thursday**:

You are a successful **Seafood Manager**, or a highly experienced 2IC from within a large grocery store hungry for a new opportunity and ready for a permanent leadership position.

**Core responsibilities will include**:

- Support the leadership and development of a large sized team, creating future leaders for the business.
- Ensure that wage costs are controlled appropriately.
- Ensure stock rotation and availability is maintained, where out of stocks occur ensure these are followed up and the impact minimised.
- Ensure operational delivery standards are met or exceeded.
- Contribute to recruitment decisions and analysis of department needs.
- Ensure compliance with our Food Control Plan.
- Proactively engage with Health & Safety throughout the department.
- Completion of team training, performance reviews and meetings.

**About you**

With a focus on 'Thinking Customer', success in this role will also require;
- Retail experience as a manager in an environment with many moving parts.
- Previous seafood experience - essential
- Computer literate and SAP experience.
- Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
- Able to confidently lead and motivate a diverse team.
