**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a visible, friendly presence to deter theft, unauthorised access, and anti-social behaviour in retail settings
- Welcome and assist customers, store staff, and visitors to ensure a positive experience
- Monitor access points, carry out routine patrols, and report suspicious activities
- Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Accurately complete incident and shift reports as required
- Maintain high professional standards and promote Red Badge Group’s values at all times
- Support compliance with health & safety and site procedures

**Requirements**:

- Responsible, reliable, and detail-focused approach to work
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Good initiative, able to work well both independently and within a team
- Flexible availability for rostered shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. You must be available for at least 1 weekend day per week.
- Previous security or customer service experience is an advantage
- Physically able to carry out retail security duties, including standing and patrolling for extended periods
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand and minimum age of 18 years
- Hold, or be able to obtain, a current NZ COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence
- Clean criminal conviction record
- Commitment to upholding health, safety, and compliance procedures
