CRA Wanaka are experts in domestic and commercial design and installation of ducted and split system heat pumps and ventilation systems. We're looking for a qualified Refrigeration Engineer to join our team to keep up with our client's demands. The role is full time Monday to Friday 40 hours a week based in Wanaka with work sites around the Central Otago region.

About the role
As the HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician you will be responsible for:

- Installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems, ventilation systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing technical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Prioritising workload to meet customer service levels and deliver outcomes in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ensure customer concerns and complaints are managed efficiently and provide resolution.
- Leveraging the current customer network, identify potential sales opportunities via the provision of cost-effective solutions for repairs, replacements and upgrades.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and processes to achieve high-quality business delivery objectives and outcomes to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Technical qualifications or experience
Relevant Equivalent Trade Qualification OR
A minimum of 8 years' relevant industry experience in a similar role including maintenance and installation of equipment within the refrigeration and HVAC industry

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Wanaka, Otago: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
