Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, as a Mechanical Fitter you’ll be joining an experienced team supporting the Bay of Plenty region in Rotorua, where you will be assisting and carrying out routine mechanical maintenance, project work and fault finding on all associated network equipment.

**Who we’re looking for**
To be considered for this role you’ll need to be an experienced mechanical fitter with HV experience.

You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Transpower Distribution/Transmission Substation Experience
- Relevant Transpower Competencies:
>Substation Entry Level 2 - SE2
- >Work Management - WM
- >Class 2 Drivers License- HT operator experience
- Able to read and interpret substation and construction plans
- An eye for detail
- Great verbal and written communication skills, with basic technology knowledge
- A great attitude and a willingness to be part of a team
