**Part-time opportunity to join the team of Tutors and Learning Facilitators working on the NZ Certificate in Work and Life Skills programme.**

As a Learning Facilitator you will be responsible for working with an academic staff member to maximise the learning experience for students on the NZ Certificate in Work and Life Skills programme.

You will:

- Provide student mentorship, guidance and encouragement to assist students in engagement within the Supported Learning programme
- Work with teaching staff to ensure the learning environment is prepared
- Contribute to new ideas and the development of new learning resources
- Be an active and supportive team member

Empathy for students and knowledge and understanding of the disability sector essential. In addition previous experience in a teaching/classroom support environment with a diverse group of individuals living with lifelong disabilities, communication difficulties and some behavioural challenges preferable.
