Mō te tūnga | About the role
The maternity services at Christchurch Women's Hospital are specialised to provide care for women who have medical problems or are experiencing complications in their pregnancy. It is staffed 24 hours a day. Our Maternity ward has 45 beds and a very high turn over of patients. Our ward is fast paced and can be at times physically demanding.
A Hospital Aide is an integral
part of our team of health professionals assisting Midwifery & Nursing
staff with patient cares
You will be responsible

**for**:

- Assisting nursing staff with patient cares
- Keeping the ward tidy and organised
- Ordering and restocking of supplies
- Liaising with central supplyYour skills will include:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to being a team member/ability to work as a

member of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to use initiative
- Honesty and Integrity
