Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services at MidCentral have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic whanau ora kaitautoko - support worker. Registered Health Professionals may also apply. This position will be based in the Manawatu locality and provide services across Manawatu and Horowhenua.

The Opportunity
The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service provides assessment and treatment within a recovery framework to young people experiencing first-episode-psychosis. The service is delivered in line with national and international best practice principles. Whanau engagement is key to long-term recovery.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a level of Maori tikanga knowledge and practise, and experience of engaging whanau for successful and equitable health outcomes.
