Due to recent staff movements, we have an opportunity for a motivated and skilled Storeman to join our team in Whanganui. **About the role - Mō te tūranga** Additional key duties below: - Load and unload all freight safely and securely - Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently - Ensure documentation accompanying freight is complete - Prioritise health and safety and ensure all MHE is operated in a safe and proficient manner - Communicate effectively within a team environment **What will you bring? -**Ōu**Pūkenga?** To be successful in this role, you will be a team player with prior reach and counterbalance experience. Additionally, you will need: - An approved forklift certificate - Prior work experience in the freight/logistics industry - A strong health and safety focus - Experience with barcode/RF Scanners in a WMS environment - Continuous improvement ideas around inward and outward goods movements - A strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - To be physically fit as some heavy lifting will be required (up to 20kgs) **So, why join us? - He aha te take e uru ai koe ki a mātou?** - We are a customer-centric, safety-obsessed business with a high-performing, values-based team.
