**The opportunity**:
As the Cloud Engineer you will be a key member of the Cloud Enablement and Hybrid Infrastructure team and support the Product Manager to complete a range of cloud related work. You will work within the team to proactively ensure the repeatability, stability, resilience, and scale of all public and private cloud services. This is a multi-cloud environment.

**_Key elements of the role will include:_**
- Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practice.
- Working with developers to support cloud adoption and deliver cloud infrastructure components as required.
- Developing and modifying pipelines to ensure repeatability and standardisation across deployments.
- Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
- Provide technical support and advice to internal customers so that they receive the information required to integrate cloud and infrastructure services.
- Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
- Working with the Team Leader to regularly review, modify, and improve existing systems.
- Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining modular cloud-based systems and solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

**Your past experience and skill set**:

- Proven experience in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS engineering and solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience with building and managing scalable cloud services, including experience with at least one private Cloud Services platform (OpenStack, vCloud Suite, CloudStack).
- Excellent problem solver with a creative streak and critical thinking skills who loves finding innovative solutions for clients using those skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in one or more related cloud technology areas (DevSecOps, containers, serverless, APIs, continuous delivery patterns, IaC, cloud-native app development, etc.).
- Experience in IaC tool chains and languages. Experience with ADO and Terraform would be desirable.
