We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrician) to work in our Service team in Wellington, New Zealand.
At KONE No two days are the same as you attend service calls and complete planned or unplanned repairs across different sites including offices, apartments, shopping centres and schools. We have an exciting opportunity to join our South Island team based in Christchurch. KONE are in a growth phase and looking for driven people to be part of the change in the elevator service business.
What will you be doing?
- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance
- Attending service calls and completing planned and unplanned repairs
- Assisting local installation activities when necessary
- Taking a safety-first and quality-focused approach to your work
- Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region
What are we looking for?
- Previous lift experience preferred
- Previous experience working with complex electrical systems
- A current registered electrical licence (EWRB)
- Valid drivers licence
- Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
- Excellent communication skills, a customer service mindset and ability to work as part of a team
- An ability to start/finish at flexible times and work after-hours as required
