**Mō te tūnga - About the Role**

As a Trainee Cardiac Physiologist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a tertiary hospital which is the electrophysiology and ICD centre for the South Island of New Zealand. You will be supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team to gain theoretical understanding and practical competency across the Cardiac Physiologist scope of practice. You - ll receive supervised practice while completing the Certification of Cardiac Physiology practical training programme (Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology), and Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Technology (University of Otago)

These are fixed-term, full time opportunities until the completion of training as a cardiac physiologist.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and maintaining skill levels and departmental standards.

- BSc Physiology or equivalent (essential);
- The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, following the guidance of supervising staff and taking advantage of learning opportunities presented;
