**Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity**
- We are seeking a Head of Procurement for our Logistics and Warehousing function. You will be responsible for leading the strategic procurement function across Global Supply chain, ensuring Global Supply Chain secures the necessary capacity and services to meet Global Supply Chain requirements.
- This impactful role is critical to our operational efficiency, cost optimization, and risk management, enabling Global Supply Chain to deliver on customer demand while maintaining alignment with Fonterra’s goals and risk appetite.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- **Strategic leadership**: - Develop and implement a category sourcing strategy for supply chain operations, including ocean freight, transportation, and third-party storage. Align procurement strategies with Global Supply Chain objectives.
- **Operational Excellence**: - Oversee the sourcing and procurement of capacity and services required for the supply chain. Monitor and evaluate procurement processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- ** Team Leadership**:

- Build, lead and mentor a high performing procurement team. Actively participate in and contribute to the senior Procurement Lead team.
- ** Financial Management**: - Drive cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build strong relationships and collaborate with Global Supply Chain and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.

**Mōu | About you**
- We need a strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, you will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You are a collaborative and influential leader with excellent interpersonal skills and possess the following skills and experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.
- Extensive experience in supply chain procurement.
- A successful track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain operations, including ocean freight, transportation, and storage.Outstanding negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
