This unit within the group is responsible for the sale, removal, relocation and re piling of building both commercial and residential across the Waikato / Bay of Plenty. It is at the heart of the group talking to all daily operations.

Due to expansion they are now seeking a Construction Operations Manager to leader the housing and transportation units of there business based out of Hamilton.

Core responsibilities:

- Management and oversight of schedules and programming
- System and process management using lean principles
- Strategic Growth & Commercial Development of the business unit
- Project Management from quotation through to delivery
- Recruit, Lead and Empower construction, Quantity Surveying and transportation teams
- Assess, Analyse and Redefine operation and financial risk across the unit
- Ensure Health & Safety Regulations across the unit

To be successful? Ideally you will understand core construction principles & consenting proceeses having working within the construction industry at some point in your career. You understand how to manage a site, planning & resourcing, how to deliver a project and are commercially savvy.

Core skills required include:

- Advanced leadership & people management skills
- Proven Project Management / Scheduling Experience
- The ability to plan, anticipate deadlines & prioritise tasks
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Contract management experience
- Sound It & Communication skills
- You can think laterally, are solution orientated and results focused.

A rare to market role within the Hamilton Construction industry we believe this role would suit a senior project manager, an existing operations manager, site manager or senior level quantity surveyor with strong leadership skills.

**Salary**: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
