Our Procurement team is dedicated to deliver AT's vision by being a trusted business partner and positioning AT as a customer of choice with its suppliers. Our goal is to deliver public value across all of our procurement activity, by working in partnership with our business stakeholders and collaborating with our extended supply chain. Auckland Transport's procurement team is focused on the delivery of four key areas: - Proactively supporting the business in delivery of business priorities; - Improving commercial discipline and value for money; - Managing procurement and supply chain risk; and - Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes We are on the hunt for a Procurement Advisor role (Business Technology and Corporate) to develop and execute Procurement Category Strategies and Plans and deliver Supplier and Contract Management outcomes to enable the best possible 'value for money' outcomes for Auckland Transport (AT). Your portfolio will initially consist of the following Business units: Stakeholder Communities & Communication Culture and Transformation - Safety Finance In addition, you will assist the Procurement Specialist, Senior Procurement Specialist and Procurement Manager with their portfolios. The role will consider the "whole of life" costs of the goods, services or works being procured, guided by the relevant Category Strategies and Procurement Plans, with the desired supplier relationship and contract performance management model to be achieved **Ko koe tēnei | About you** You'll have good communication, negotiation and influencing skills, the ability to build strong relationships between cross functional teams, a keen attention to detail, and are able to juggle multiple change initiatives at once.
