Education Perfect (EP) are looking for experienced, passionate school teachers to support the development of high-quality content for the updated NCEA Level 1 English curriculum.
In this project-based role, you will have the opportunity to plan and write engaging online lessons that will be hosted on the Education Perfect (EP) learning platform. We are offering NZD$400 per lesson script. Employment will be contract-based and projects are negotiable in terms of size and scope.
**This opportunity might suit you if**:
- You have a minimum of three years' experience teaching NCEA Level 1 English and have knowledge and/or experience of the changes to the NCEA curricula;
- You have a passion for the inclusion of mātauranga Māori in the study of English and the diverse voices of Aotearoa New Zealand, with a focus on Māori and Pasifika writers;
- You can commit to being available for 15-20 hours per week mid-May to June;
- You are experienced at and enjoy writing your own resources and lessons.
You'll enjoy flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, with no special equipment or software required. You’ll benefit from comprehensive training and ongoing support from our fantastic Education Perfect Content Team.
If you are shortlisted for this project, you may be asked to complete a small sample of work. This involves the same tasks and skills as the project, so it is a good opportunity for you to assess your interest in the project, and for us to assess your skills.
