Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do
The Evidence, Research and Innovation Directorate leads the delivery of fit for purpose analytics, research, science advice and economic analysis for Manatū Hauora, and collaborates and enables equivalent work with sector partners. We deliver and enable actionable insights for customers and stakeholders for evidence-based decision making focussed on the achievement of Pae Ora.
The role of Manager Office of the Deputy Director-General is pivotal in supporting the strategic direction of the directorate to ensure the best outcomes possible. You'll be a key part of the Senior Leadership Team to provide:
business planning and support, including financial monitoring and co-ordination of deliverables
- coordination of Directorate input into briefings, weekly reports, PQ's OIA's and Ministerials
- leadership of change initiatives across the Directorate and wider Ministry

strategic advice on positioning, risk management, effective prioritisation, and integration in relation to outputs from the directorate.
