Our client is one of New Zealand’s most renowned and respected commercial/industrial flooring applicators in the country and has been operating for over 21 years. Based in Hamilton, our client is seeking to expand their team with a diligent and conscientious Foreman/Applicator.

You will need to be a friendly, easy-going person with a good sense of humour who can easily fit into their team. As a Foreman/Applicator you will coordinate operations and oversee day-to-day activities on sites and will be the key person in charge of managing the completion of the projects.

If you are not a Foreman/Applicator but have a painting or plastering background, then we want to hear from you as well. If you are a quick learner and want to grow yourself, this might be the right opportunity for you.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Experience as a Foreman, applicator or similar role.
- Good client management and problem resolution & issue management skills.
- Knowledge and experience in resin coving, broadcast systems, roller coating and self-smoothing coatings.
- Previous experience in painting, plastering, or trowelling an advantage.
- Exceptional adherence to site safety and safe work practises.
- Ability to read construction plans and identify specification requirements.
- A strong delivery / work ethic and willingness to get the job done and work under pressure.
- Commit to travelling around New Zealand.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
