We have two BMW dealerships which are in Wairau Valley, Auckland's North Shore and Kaiwharawhara, Wellington. **About the Role and Responsibilities**

With the continuous growth of our dealerships, our dealership in Kaiwharawhara, Wellington is now looking for an experienced Technician to join their busy service workshop. With the use of latest diagnostic technology, you are to ensure BMW vehicles are kept in top condition with only Genuine BMW parts and diagnostic equipment. This is a full time and permanent role that will get you working closely with 5 other factory trained technicians with combined experience of 20+ years. As their new Technician, you are to;
- Undertake a wide range of mechanical work associated with the servicing, maintenance, and repair of vehicles in an effective and timely fashion
- Undertake all training in an effective manner and assist in the guidance of less experienced technicians
- Maintain effective communication with all colleagues
- Maintain all equipment and work areas required for the job including cleanliness
- Maintain high standard of workmanship and avoid re-work
- Complete a timecard for every working day showing individual times taken for each job
- Ensure all documentation is completed on an accurate and timely basis
- Check the general state of customers' vehicles and record any faults which will not be corrected by the repair order
- Diagnosing faults
- Carry out any other tasks as directed by supervisor/management

**To be successful in this role, you must**:

- Have a Level 4 Automotive Certificate or
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience
- Possess strong mechanical skills and electronic diagnostic experience
- High level of computer and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Deliver a positive attitude and strong work ethic
