Yard Supervisor

We are looking for a Yard Supervisor who will lead by example to join our CARTERS New Plymouth team where you will manage the effective flow of product within both our Timber yard and Panel store as well as supervising the yard team

**About the role**

As well as maintaining customer loyalty through the smooth operation of your department, you will also be required to:

- Supervision of yard team to ensure all customer orders are picked accurately and despatched on time
- Ensure all forklifts are maintained in accordance with CHH policy requirements
- Work alongside the Trade Services Manager to maintain systems ensuring a healthy and safe working environment

**About you**

You will succeed in this role because you have the following skills, experience and values:

- ** Supervisory experience** with an ability to motivate a team is essential.
- ** An eye for detail** coupled with excellent time management skills and a willingness to want to work in an organised and clean environment
- ** Basic tech skills** - Knowledge of computer systems & basic operating skills and Timber / Yard and Inventory experience.
- ** Physically fit** for heavy lifting and the physical aspects of being on the go
- ** A Forklift licence** including F endorsement and OSH certificate is desirable
