Commercial Analyst

We are seeking a **Commercial Analyst** to join the Lodestar Commercial Team, based at our Mount Maunganui Office.

Reporting to the Financial Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and vendor management across a complex freight network.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Reporting and analysing freight costs across multiple manufacturing sites
- Preparing freight forecasts and annual budgets by site and sector
- Managing ocean freight rates and vendor billing in logistics systems
- Supporting custom freight billing, imports, and financial reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end margin analysis and commercial projects

**Skills and experience**:

- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Familiarity with freight, logistics, or supply chain financial processes
- Experience with ERP or freight systems (e.g. eCargo, Elixir) would be beneficial
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent analytical skills with a passion for working with data.
