Tarnix provide regular and emergency Patrol Services to private residential, commercial, education based and other public clients. We are looking for reliable and responsible drivers, who will make good decisions under pressure, to join our great team of dynamic Patrol Guards.

Role
You will be required to undertake Mobile Patrol Guard services, where you will be responsible for checking client premises to ensure all doors and site entry points are secure.
- The role is based in Te Puke
- Full time and part time positions available
- Night shift based role - 6PM start, at the earliest
- We are open 24/7, 365 days per year
- You will receive full on the job training and support
- You will need to be able to walk and drive long distances during a shift (vehicle and foot patrolling), and be adaptable to accommodate security callouts to client sites.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will drive to client sites and carry out site specific on-foot and in-vehicle patrol services
- Create incident reports for all findings
- On occasion, provide clear, calm instructions to emergency services.
About you
- You must have a clean criminal record and ability to pass a security clearance check
- Have the ability to give attention to detail, a great work ethic, positive mindset and enjoy driving
- Have self drive with a desire to generally self govern your own work each shift, and a desire for constant improvement
- Physical fitness - ability to walk and drive for long periods, good vision (or glasses) for driving at night
- Be able to work rotating shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
- You will have the ability to de-escalate situations if needed.
Skills and experience
- Proficient written and verbal skills (English)
- Ability to get a Certificate of Approval Security License
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, honest, courteous to colleges, and able to find satisfaction in hard work to meet client needs.
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
