**Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity
- Strategy Analyst (12 months fixed term, part-time)**
The Strategy Analyst -fixed term role (0.5 FTE) will support the development and implementation of AT's corporate strategy and business plans, and any functional or domain area plans across AT. The role sits within AT's Corporate Strategy and Business Planning team.
**This role for 20 hours per week will suit a recent graduate or someone completing their post-graduate studies**. It's an excellent opportunity to start your career with an organisation that has a compelling purpose and significant impact on Auckland's performance as a region.
**Key Tasks include**:
- Undertake research and analysis to provide insights and input into the development of AT strategies and plans.
- Track the teams' key milestones in the strategy development and implementation process and support the team to meet these milestones.
- Prepare status reports and other reporting such as risks and issues management.
- Contribute to the preparation of corporate strategy related updates and reports to the AT Board, ELT and senior leaders.
- Support the development of the corporate strategy delivery plans.
- Monitor emerging trends in the transport sector and provide relevant insights and ideas into AT work.
**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
- You will have a tertiary qualification in business, finance, technology, or related discipline, and maybe currently completing your post-graduate qualifications. You will have a passion for research, analysis, contributing to brainstorming and ideation, and most importantly, planning and organising.
- Some knowledge of business intelligence tools like Power BI will be important.
- An added advantage will be if you bring some experience working with data and analytics.
