**About the role**

Join Genesis Energy as Head of Security & Networks (known internally as Senior Manager of Group Security & Networks) where you will be responsible for building and leading our security practice. In this pivotal role, you will establish and maintain a comprehensive security management strategy, ensuring the protection of our information assets. You will drive our security initiatives and collaborate with various business units to combat emerging threats and incidents. Be at the forefront of innovation in information security and network management, leading a team of dedicated professionals and fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

In this role you will;
- Build and lead our comprehensive security practice, ensuring the safeguarding of our information assets through innovative and strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain a company-wide security management strategy.
- Identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks.
- Lead and mentor the information security and network team members.
- Drive the maturity of the company's security and enhance the security of our operational technology environments, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats.
- Develop and manage information security and network budgets as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and engagement among employees through training and proactive communication.

**About you**

We are looking for a strategic and dynamic leader with a passion for information security and network management.
- Extensive leadership experience in risk management, information security, operational technology and cyber security.
- Proven track record in developing and executing information security policies and programs.
- Experience driving the maturity of the company's security and enhancing the security of operational technology environments.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
