This role is designed to support the department team leader in all aspects of the department operations from customer service, stock management, and team leadership. This department itself looks after garden tools, sprays, fertilizers, and other garden care products, as well power garden equipment and tools such as lawn mowers, water blasters and the likes.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

- 100% customer focus, consistently capturing all our customers' needs
- Assist with the managing of day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient workflow
- Assist with supervising team and delegating tasks as needed, as well as influence team members positively with drive and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- A knowledge of garden hardware, green goods and associated products would be a great advantage
- A proven retail track record inclusive of key areas such as stock management, and merchandising best practice would also be an advantage
