**Job Title: Surgical Nurse (Casual/Temp)**

**Location: Auckland, New Zealand**

Are you an experienced Surgical Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our esteemed healthcare team in Auckland. If you:

- have a proven track record in surgical nursing
- have specific experience in New Zealand
- are a full-time parent and wanting some work-life balance
- are working elsewhere but want some extra cash
- and the flexibility to work early morning or night shifts
- are planning to pick up more shifts during the week
- are available for shift days between Monday
- Friday
- want a role that is temp/casual/locum

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting pre-operative assessments and preparing patients for surgery.
- Monitoring patients post-operatively and providing appropriate care.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhering to established protocols and maintaining high standards of infection control.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse qualification with a valid New Zealand practicing certificate.
- Proven experience as a Surgical Nurse in a New Zealand healthcare setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning and night shifts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining professional development and staying abreast of industry best practices.
