Our client Plazmax, are a leading innovator in industrial automation, and are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to help them revolutionise manufacturing. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be the driving force behind designing state-of-the-art automated profile cutters and robotics systems. Picture yourself creating cutting-edge designs that are at the forefront of industrial automation technology.

**What's involved?**

You will be brainstorming, designing, and developing mechanical components and assemblies. We need someone who knows the ins and outs of bringing ideas to life using Autodesk Inventor and the Autodesk Design and Manufacturing Collection. SolidWorks knowledge helps too.

Collaboration is the name of the game here. Working closely with some brilliant minds from cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, together, you will create innovative solutions that blow our customers away.

Conducting engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate the performance and functionality of your designs, it's all about making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

**What we need from you**
- A Bachelor's or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and have at least 3 years of experience in mechanical design. If you have some experience with automation systems, robotics, and control systems, that's a bonus.
- High attention to details, ensuring your designs are top-notch, and meet all functional requirements.
- You will be efficient and cost-effective while conforming with our company design, engineering standards and workflows.
- Excellent problem solving ability, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- But most importantly, we want someone who's passionate about innovation in industrial automation. Your creativity will be your superpower here
