My client, based in Avondale is a distributor of consumable items to the hospitality and hospitality sectors. They are looking for people with experience operating forklifts, both reach and counterbalance, but will be upskilling all to use the stockpicker, as this is the main machine used here.

**About the Role**:
Working in a tight team, you will be spending your day picking orders, using Stockpicker and Reach forklifts. Most items weigh a maximum of 10kg, however are often bulky, involving repetative movements. But accuracy is more important then speed. Getting the right priduct out to the clients is the main goal.

**Responsibilities included**
- **Safety** - Ensure safe work practices for yourself and others, wearing of appropriate PPE, identifying safety issues (though raising near misses), action close outs & ensure all standards are maintained and signed off
- **Quality** - Complete standard and quality checks and process
- **Teamwork** - Prioritise and proactively participate in the safety for yourself, your colleagues and your community.
- **Accuracy** - Take the time to make sure the orders are right, save everyone time and money

**This role requires the following**:

- Forklift operation experience - Reach and Counterbalance essential, stock picker would be a bonus
- A good physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
- Focus and knowledge of safe work practices and hazard prevention due to chemicals onsite
- Keen eye for detail, to problem solve and display good decision-making skills
- Great work ethic to work on your own, and as a part of a team
- Flexibility and ability to learn quickly to upskill
