**About the role**

Reporting to the Northern Design Manager, you will be based in Mt Maunganui, working on one of our electricity distribution agreements. The Designer / Estimator will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of asset renewal and Customer Initiated Works (CIW) projects. Your primary role will be to provide design and pricing solutions for the network including overhead lines, underground networks, transformers and substations. In addition, you will also get out in the field for customer site visits and manage your own small projects.

This is a fulltime role, based in Mt Maunganui, working 40 hours per week, paying between $75,000-$100,000 per annum, based on experience.

**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**

Knowledge of electricity distribution requirements is essential. You will also offer project management, design nous and commercial costing skills. You could be an experienced Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Engineer or Designer/Estimator in the power distribution industry ready to hit the ground running. It is ideal if you can also offer:

- At least 2 -3 years of experience in the power distribution industry
- Electrical Distribution Design and pricing experience
- Project Management experience
- Strong MS Office skills
- Knowledge of legislation and ability to work within industry standards
- As a natural communicator, you will enjoy liaising with our customers to manage projects, ensure your designs meet specifications, on time and within budget.
