**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for New Graduate Radiation Therapists (RTs) to join our team at the Wellington Blood and Cancer Centre (WBCC) in Wellington Regional Hospital. You will become a part of the multidisciplinary team within the WBCC providing an effective and efficient treatment service to patients undergoing radiation treatment. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate localisation, planning, and delivery of radiation treatment as well as patient assessment and education.

The Radiation Oncology team is supportive, vibrant, dynamic, and dedicated to the provision of an efficient, high quality, patient focused treatment service that includes a diverse range of advanced techniques. We have a complement of modern equipment including three TrueBeam Linear Accelerators with IGRT/VMAT/FFF/Gating and Stereotactic Options, a Superficial X-ray unit, an HDR Brachytherapy theatre unit, our own CT scanner, and an integrated networked single-vendor based treatment planning, treatment, and patient management system. A comprehensive orientation to our department and organisation will be provided to you on the commencement of your employment.

You must have NZ Citizenship or a NZ Work Visa (be eligible for) and be registered with our governing body the NZ Medical Radiation Technologists Board with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
