Hydraulic Engineer

We are a Napier based Company which specialises in the repair and service of a wide variety of Hydraulic Machinery and Equipment.

Due to an ever expanding Workload, we are currently seeking a hydraulic engineer / technician to join our friendly team. Ideally we are looking for someone who has had significant experience in a similar role.

Our equipment repairs and installs cover a vast array of Machinery including (but not limited to) in-house or on-site pump, motor, cylinder and hose repairs to maintaining or repairing cranes, excavators, forestry / earthmoving equipment, fishing vessels, trucks and even factory production lines.

If it runs a hydraulic or hydrostatic system we will build, maintain or repair it.

**Key skills required**:

- Problem solving, fault finding and diagnostic ability.
- Knowledge and proven history repairing pumps, hydraulic motors, hydraulic rams, valves etc.
- Have previous and relevant technical experience in both workshop and field service.
- Excellent time management and a high standard of fast, quality workmanship.
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to handle pressure and multiple jobs.
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal manner and teamwork ethic.
- A positive and pro-active attitude to modern health & safety practices.

You must be flexible with work hours as there may be some breakdown call outs and overtime required as work dictates.
