The Courier - Fleet and Distribution Services is responsible for the daily delivery of items as part of the Fleet and Distribution Services at the Central Alliance hospitals and off-site properties of operations.

This Courier Driver role is unlike most of its kind You will be a permanent employee of Ventia and will have a set shift of Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm.

**The opportunity**
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and wants the opportunity to give back to the community. This role is playing an active role in assisting the health sector through Ventia’s Mid Central DHB contract. With the perks of being a permanent employee, this is perfect for current courier drivers looking for a more stable role, or someone who has been looking into courier driving but wants a less risky opportunity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Loading, transporting, and delivering hospital and medical equipment to patients and DHB facilities
- Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and escalating any complaints from clients
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries

**Skills and Experience**
- Current Full NZ Drivers license with the ability to drive manual transmission
- Experience in Courier or Logistic type roles in healthcare industry is an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physically fit as this role requires lifting up to 20kg
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
