We are looking for a Registrar to join our team to coordinate efficient registration services that facilitate the acquisition, lending, exhibition, security and safe storage of cultural collections. This person will have a broad range of key stakeholders, artists, curators and registration staff from other institutions, art dealers, collectors and many more, so strong communication and relationship building skills are key.

The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Organise receipt and dispatch of cultural collections, while maintaining the collection database to accurately reflect the holdings and movements of cultural collections.
Manage the contracts, freight, condition reporting and other associated tasks for touring exhibitions.
Assist the Collections, Curatorial, and Exhibitions Lead to deliver best practice collections handling and conservation techniques.
Oversee revaluations of the collection every three years.
Manage casual and contracted staff as required for projects.
Actively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation
