Our Gisborne office is seeking an empathetic, experienced Counsellor for a fulfilling opportunity, giving you with the tools you need to support people the way they deserve to be taken care of - the Habit Health way.

This is a part time permanent role (2 days a week).

**Main responsibilities**:

- Deliver focused interventions so that clients ace coping mechanisms at work and life
- Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
- Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth
- Deliver training to customer employees

- Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCA
- Tertiary level 7 Counselling or related qualification and** a minimum of five years of post-study experience in general counselling is required**.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT, CBT, FACT is desirable
- Can work independently and attend on-sites for psychological first aid.
- Experience in trauma intervention, psychological first-aid
