Grading Technician

We are on the lookout for a talented and passionate Grading Technician to join our laboratory team, working Monday to Friday.
As a Grading Technician at Tatua, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our premium dairy products.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Reviewing test results and information to determine whether products met requirements to be sold
- Creating documentation required for customers and export teams
- Administration of data in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Performing routine functional tests, such as whipping cream and making ice‑cream
- Co-ordinating sensory test panels
- Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Following established protocols and procedures.
You’ll work closely with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to excellence and precision, making a tangible impact on our product quality and global reputation.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- A positive and proactive attitude
- A quick learner who can adapt to new systems
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers
- Strong adherence to processes and procedures
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Strong computer literacy
- An understanding of lab test results desired
- Experience managing data in a LIMS preferred.
Applicants must be able to attend an interview in Morrinsville and have the required documentation to allow them to work in New Zealand.
