As an Associate Technical Consultant within our Dynamics 365 Service Line, you play a pivotal role assisting in the identification / development / implementation of technology solutions for clients using company products, technology solutions and/or proprietary tools & techniques.
The role is open to New Zealand Citizens, or Residents who have lived in New Zealand for five (5) years or more, that are able to pass a New Zealand Security Clearance.

What you’ll do
Working closely with Dynamics 365 team members the Associate Technical Consultant will see you working on a range of problems and you get to bring that analytical capability into focus. Always looking to build autonomous, continuous improvement systems within the Dynamics space. At the same time you will be supporting customer environments, technical docs, and delivering along with the guidance and support of the team

- Working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to build a culture of service excellence and demonstrates new ways of working.
- Building and maintaining a strong, constructive working relationship with customers and staff, focussed on achieving business goals.
- Supporting customers and wider datacom team throughout the project including in implementing and handover to other teams.
- Support in the identification and resolution of issues.
- Takes reasonable care that their actions (or inactions) do not harm the Health and Safety of self or others. Reports all incidents, hazards or unsafe work practices as per Datacom policy.

What you’ll bring
- Advanced skills in an operating system and various database software and network systems.
- Knowledge of current services and new computing directions and technologies.
- Knowledge of user and key vendor requirements.
- Knowledge of Automation technologies and concepts.
- Working knowledge of hybrid cloud and native cloud environments.
- 2+ years of broad IT experience.
- Experience in a commercial business environment.
- Analytical, consultative and planning skills.
- Technical skills requiring further development.
- Proven self-ownership of personal training and development.
- Ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Adheres to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
- Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the business.
- Sound technical specification writing / documentation skills.
- Ability to interact and network with stakeholders in own area of expertise.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams and gain the cooperation of others.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts.
