With a strong presence in NZ and a reputation for delivering a high quality Swedish designed product, they are a business that shows no signs of stopping. **About the role: Come as you | Nau mai** As the Assembly Technician, you will assist the Senior team to ensure production targets are on track and high workmanship standards are met at all times. If you have a great work ethic, are mechanically minded and want to work closer to home then **APPLY NOW** You will be responsible for various engineering and hydraulic work including the assembly of brake & suspension systems and completing the fitting & installation of hydraulic systems. As well as: - Assisting in maintaining new build delivery dates - Preparing cranes for painting - Liaising with Parts Assistant to avoid delays caused by awaiting equipment or parts - Accurately entering jobs, parts & labour hours into "SAM" (Workshop Operating system) - Commissioning trailers - Calibrating and load testing **_ The ideal Assembly Technician:_** - Relevant experience in a similar role, or come from a mechanical background (car mechanic, fitter etc) - Able to read & interpret or produce drawings in an engineering capacity (ideally) - Have a solid understanding of Health & Safety, ensuring procedures are followed - Able to work collaboratively with others - Able to delegate tasks to other assembly technicians and monitor the quality of work
