**What does the Inventory Controller do?**

Our Inventory Controllers keep a close eye on trends to ensure stock levels are maintained, invoices are loaded and customer orders are placed. They get stuck in and help other areas of the branch when needed. They:

- Coordinate stock purchasing, ensuring that purchasing is based on strong analysis of demand and purchase history and forecasting
- Lead stocktakes, coordinate cyclic counts with branch staff and ensure discrepancies are investigates
- Be the central contact point for all branch related inventory.
- Identify areas for efficiency and improvement in our inventory processes and implement these across the branches.

Your strong administration skills and previous inventory/stock management, along with your keen hunger to learn will see you stand out, but it’s your ability to work efficiently, accurately, and as part of a team that will see you succeed in this role. You are someone who has a keen eye for detail, doesn’t fluster easily, organised, is a whiz with excel and can adapt your working style to get the job done.

Experience in a trade environment will get you off to a flying start, but it is not essential.
