Cyclic Operator - Tauranga
Join our Tauranga team as a Cyclic Operator and become a valued part of the TCC Maintenance whānau. You'll complete daily network inspections and essential maintenance, making sure our roads are safe and well looked after. Your proactive approach and people-first attitude will help you build genuine relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the wider community.
What you’ll be doing
No two days are quite the same, your hands-on work will include:
- Responding to urgent health and safety issues - from accident debris clean-up to network hazards- Pothole repairs, edge breaks, and replacing edge or culvert marker posts- Quick-fix concrete repairs to keep things safe- Installing and maintaining signage, cleaning signs, and removing graffiti- Traffic management for designated roads- Vegetation management around key areas- Sight rail maintenance and repairs- Using RAMM technology to log and complete jobs- Emergency response and storm clean-up- Finding and fixing the small (but important) things that keep our roads running smoothly- Participating in our on-call roster (every 6 weeks)
