International Terminal Manager

As **International Terminal Manager**, you will report to** **the Auckland Airport **Contract Manager** and will organise, control and coordinate the operational management of the **International Terminal** at Auckland Airport to ensure the efficient delivery of Assetlink’s cleaning contract.

**This role will require availability 5 days a week with set hours to be finalised.**

**What you will be doing**
- Organise, control and coordinate the operational management of the site to ensure efficient delivery of Assetlink’s cleaning contract
- Communicate effectively with the client, passengers and team members
- Build and manage strong relationships with all Auckland Airport staff
- Oversee cleaning staff rosters in conjunction with the Cleaning Team Leaders
- Prepare safety and operational audits
- Provide regular machinery assessments
- Manage site Subcontractors and arrange periodical work
- Create and sustain a safe and productive environment for all
- Lead and develop the on-site team: Senior Team Leaders and the frontline Cleaning Team members
- Prepare regular reports and analysis of business achievements, opportunities and targets, including risk assessments, cost benefit and SWOT analysis

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**You will have**
- Commercial cleaning experience, ideally with multiple types of equipment and machinery
- Demonstrated team leadership experience of large teams, including performance management
- Previous hands-on and formal staff training experience - ideal
- Demonstrated relationship building and management experience
- Positive and engaging manner with all stakeholders, strong customer service orientation
- Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally
- Outstanding problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Exceptional time management, organisational and effective trouble shooting skills
- Prior experience in a unionised environment - advantage
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - essential
- Tertiary education preferred (not mandatory) or relevant work-related experience - ideal
- Current open drivers licence
