You’ll be responsible for the overall marketing plan, strategy, and building a high-performing marketing team. You’ll also work closely with the CEO, as well as the Founder to rapidly grow the company.

Here’s what your role looks like:
**Guitar Mastery Method VP of Marketing**
- Develop and implement a clear marketing plan to ensure our quarterly objectives are hit
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO & marketing team
- Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
- Design and review the Marketing department’s budget
- Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
- Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Build relationships with external marketing contractors such as advertising agencies, consultants, social media growth specialists (and more)
**Necessary Skills & Qualifications**
- You have 2+ years of experience in a similar leadership position - VP of Marketing, Marketing Director, or another senior role
- You have a proven track record of creating hyper-growth in previous companies you’ve worked for
- You love rock & blues (think Clapton, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Slash) - Bonus points if you actually play guitar
- You possess strong communication skills:

- Are an exceptional leader
- Are an active listener who can develop, lead, and carry out a project or task through to completion
- Ask effective questions and provide valuable feedback
- Communicate with and respond to all people with a high level of emotional intelligence
- You’re able to demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- You have a deep understanding of online marketing principles, such as direct response copywriting, social media marketing, sales, marketing strategy and more
- You have proven experience improving customer retention and creating a stronger customer experience
- You’re comfortable in high-pressure situations where quick problem-solving skills and critical thinking need to be used
- You love interacting with people and people love interacting with you
- You have a consistently strong work ethic and are willing to go the extra mile to achieve results, especially during mission-critical times of the year
You’re going to work with our CEO, Jonny Meechan, and closely with other members of our sales, marketing, social media teams as well. We’ve been building this for 7 years but we’re just getting started. You’re coming in early as we’re just beginning to really scale up the membership. **Metrics**
The metrics you will be responsible for will include growing revenue (in a BIG way), maintaining profit margin, growing our membership program, and reducing churn rate.

You’re going to be paid $170,000.00 this year with up to $80,000.00 bonus
