The Tutorial Assistant will work alongside business and management academic staff to provide learning support, facilitate tutorials, and assist with assessment-related tasks. This role is essential in fostering an engaging and effective learning environment for students pursuing advanced studies in management.
The Tutorial Assistant will:
- Facilitate tutorial sessions to support student learning and engagement.
- Assist in the preparation, delivery, and organisation of course materials.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, both in group settings and individually.
- Assist with marking and providing feedback on assessments under the guidance of lecturers.
- Maintain accurate records of student participation and academic progress.
- Support the use of learning management systems and digital tools for course delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of course delivery through feedback and collaboration with academic staff.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A **postgraduate qualification** in business, management, or a related field (**Master’s level or higher preferred**).
- **Ideally, research-active** with an interest in contributing to academic scholarship.
- Experience in a **teaching, tutoring, or academic support role**, preferably in higher education.
- Strong **interpersonal and communication skills** to engage with students and academic staff.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office and learning management systems** (e.g., Moodle).
- Excellent **organisational and time management skills**.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student success.
