Ayurda Spa and wellness is a premium ayurvedic wellness spa and we have been helping clients achieve their health and wellbeing goals by offering holistic Ayurvedic treatments. We are expanding our team and are looking for an experienced ayurvedic massage therapist to be a part of our growth and expansion plans in New Zealand.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
You must be an experienced body massage and beauty therapist with proven experience in delivering various Ayurvedic treatments such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Katibasti, Shirobyanga, to the highest standards. This is a minimum 30 hrs /week role which could go up to 40- 45 hrs.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Excellent communication and client retention skills
- Excellent understanding of best practices in the therapeutic industry
- Willing to learn and adapt new treatment protocols
- Maintaining high standards at all times, within the treatment room and center as a whole.
- Ensure that the massage rooms are properly prepared and ready, upon opening, to receive customers and that they are properly presented, clean, tidy, and attractive
- The ability to work after hours & weekends with the option of taking on additional hours as and when required is a must
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Computer literate with the ability to and hands-on basic computer operations.
- Experience in beauty treatments & massage therapies.
- Informing clients about available massage treatments and which treatments may be the most beneficial to them
- Ability to answer phone and make booking and perform other task as required.
- Maintaining a detailed and accurate history of each client using our software
- Can-do attitude & willingness to learn.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must hold a relevant qualification/s. This includes a certificate or diploma from recognized/legitimate training institutions gained from overseas or from within New Zealand is highly preferable.
- Having at least 2 to 3 years or more professional work experience in a similar capacity at any 4/5 star Hotel's/Holiday Resorts/Beauty Spa is preferable.
- Must be able to perform most traditional Ayurvedic massage and related treatments.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to communicate in English at a good level. This is necessary to communicate with our customers and other staff.

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, Permanent or NZ Resident visa holders, or holding a valid open work visa.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
