**The role**:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machine Operator Labourer as part of our Ashburton road maintenance contract team here at HEB Construction.

Key responsibilities are:

- Take part in routine roading maintenance activities
- Roading repairs and renewals, including drainage works, kerb & channel prep, footpath maintenance and renewals, boundary to boundary carriageway maintenance, as well as emergency repairs
- Responding to incidents and clean ups on the roads on after hours call out roster

This is a permanent full-time position. The work is Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday work will be required from time to time.

**About you**:
Essential:

- Demonstrated experience in Road and Drainage Construction and Maintenance
- Full class 1 license
- Demonstrated ability, willingness and commitment to be multi-skilled
- A reasonable level of physical fitness, due to the physical nature of the position
- Be a reliable and flexible team-player

Desirable:

- Class 2 /5 licence
- WTR endorsement preferred
- Excavator operator experience
- Grader operator experience
- Traffic Controllers Qualifications preferred
